Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American musician and popular actress. Raised by her mother throughout the USA she had to face numerous racial insults which gave her feeling of being unwanted. She began to gain confidence in the ninth grade when she entered a school audition and was highly praised by the judges for her vocal ability. It not only boosted the confidence of her, but was also a change in the direction of her career. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School. In 1993 she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot She played The Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC, she gained greater recognition. The actress is also a renowned artist and released an extended play. As an activist, she strives to promote LGBT equality.
