The actress is the daughter of actor and comic Chris Elliott. Abby Elliott has been raised by her parents in Wilton the Connecticut town of Wilton. She has a mother named Paula Niedert. Paula Niedert is a talent consultant, and her father Chris Elliott an actor and comedian. She is the granddaughter of radio comedian Bob Elliott. When she was young, Elliott enjoyed performing at school shows and musicals. Following Immaculate High School she went to Marymount Manhattan College. But, during the first quarter, she studied in New York City.
